Cal .45 Barrel 5". Manufactured 1958. Standard commercial post-war Pre-Series 70 Model 1911 A1 chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. Barrel has the blue finish. Sports a pair of checkered walnut grips which are replacements for the original plastic grips. Otherwise gun is all original. There is high edge wear on the slide and muzzle. The front grip strap has silvered out. There are a couple of age freckles. Still retains 85-90% original blue. All original parts. Fine bore and action. Nice clean early post war pistol.
