Caliber .44 percussion with an 8" barrel. Standard military issue popular during the Civil War. It is a six shot, single action in blued finish with walnut grips. Has all proper military inspector marks. Walnut grips are very good with partially visible cartouche intact. Stamped "Starr Arms Co. New York" on left side. Matching serial number on cylinder with original nipples. Revolver is basically devoid of any original finish and is a clean gun metal grey with light salt and pepper finish. Fine working order. Strong clean bore.
