This unusual percussion powder testing pistol features brass hardware with an iron trigger guard and hammer and a one piece walnut bag handle. The frame features lovely scroll engraving, as does the buttplate and trigger guard. The left side of the frame is stamped "J. Perry". We are attributing this to J.W. Perry of Jamestown, New York. Very interesting, highly ornate powder testing pistol.
