This second generation Colt Single Action Army revolver was manufactured in the first year of post-war production in 1956. It is standard in all respects as follows: 5-1/2" barrel, chambered for the .45 long Colt cartridge, blued finish, and case colored frame. The gun retains approximately 97% of the original Colt high polish blue finish with just a touch of high edge wear on muzzle and high edge of cylinder. One cylinder notch has a touch of minor corrosion. The frame retains virtually all of the original case colors. Cylinder has a very light drag line and a couple of minor storage scuffs. Trigger guard front screw has slight burr. Most of the blue is still evident on face of cylinder. Mint grips.
