This lot includes a combination set. The napkin holder is suspended within the wire handle on this set. On the sides of the napkin holder is a pepper shaker and an open salt. All on a large, footed base. Marked Rockford Silver Co., #112. Silver is tarnished, but in pretty nice condition. There is a partial combination set that has a pepper shaker and an open salt. Whatever went in front of the salt and pepper is missing (butter plate - ?) Also, did this piece carry a detachable napkin holder that hung from the curved piece overhead? Marked Derby Silver Co., #507. There is also an Oriental man that holds a bamboo pole. A rope connects the pole to a napkin holder that rests on a round woodland base. Marked Rogers & Bro. No number. Similar to plate 693, but different napkin holder. In addition, there is a also a cherub that pulls a napkin holder on wheels. Napkin holder is engraved "Winnie." No manufacturer's mark or number. Silver loss/tarnish. There is a small bird that rests on flowers and leaves that extend up from branch base. Marked Meriden B. Company; #248.Some silver loss. One napkin holder is of a chubby baby bird that perches on a tree limb that bends to form the base for a child-sized napkin holder. Marked Meriden B. Company #226. Some silver loss. Plate 199. There is a napkin holder that is supported by four small children who appear to be writing on tablets. Napkin holder is engraved with the name "Addie." No manufacturer's mark or number. Tarnished/silver loss. Another napkin holder atop triangular base. Marked Meriden B. Company. #130. Tarnished, but silver and condition look good. Finally, there are two small boys wearing caps lean against the napkin holder mounted on a plain, rectangular base with arched sides. Marked Middletown Plate Co., #87. Napkin holder is engraved with initials. Silver loss. Otherwise, good condition.
