This lot includes a wingless cherub that tiptoes on one foot with the other foot in the air, as if dancing. The raised rectangular base has an acanthus leaf border. Marked Middletown Plate Co., #73. Some silver loss/tarnish. Plate 451. There is a winged cherub with left arm raised, blows horn with the other hand while standing in front of a fluted-edged napkin holder on a pedestal that is engraved "Harry H. Stone." All on a heavily embossed oval base marked Meriden Silver Plate Co. #9077. Probably of more recent vintage. There is a sailor man that holds an anchor by rope while standing next to napkin holder on triple tiered, rectangular base that is marked Derby Silver Co. Number is illegible. Silver loss/tarnish. Of more recent vintage. There are two small foxes that try to reach grapes which are atop napkin holder. A scalloped oval base rests on ball feet. Marked Wilcox Silver Plate Co., #01535. Silver is tarnished, but looks like it will clean up. See similar ring, plate 117. A calla lily nestled in three leaves adorns the rectangular base edged with an acanthus leaf design and decorative feet. Marked Barbour Bros. Co. Silver loss and a tiny crack in the bottom of the napkin holder, but a very nice napkin ring. Plate 491. Finally, a barrel with staves forms the napkin holder, which is supported by branches and leaves. Some tarnish/silver loss. Otherwise, in good condition.
