This lot consists of Kate Greenaway-type boy with a baseball bat stands in front of hexagonal, bead-edged napkin holder. Baseball is by boy's foot. Silver loss; otherwise, condition is good. Plate 724. Also, there is a man dressed in sports attire, stands alongside napkin holder elevated on a pedestal. Marked Meriden B. Company; #249. Silver and condition are good. Plate 723. There is a large horse that pulls napkin holder on wheels. Marked Racine Silver Co. Napkin holder is engraved with initials. Despite markings this piece appears to be of more recent vintage. There is also a napkin holder that is supported by two butterflies that rest on an Oriental fan base. The fan base is curled up somewhat and should be flat. Silver loss. Marked Meriden B. Company; #209. Plate 486. In addition, there is a winged cherub that is seated on a pedestal by the napkin holder. In its' right hand is a bud vase holder that should contain a glass bud vase which is missing. All on a rectangular base that should have four flower feet. Two are missing. Silver loss/tarnish. Marked Meriden B. Company; #220. Plate 304. Included are also two small birds flank napkin holder on which is a beautiful raised flower. All on a very fancy base with four large ball feet. Marked Barbour Silver Co., #23. Silver loss; otherwise good condition. Finally, there is the head of a chicken pops out of the top of a cracked egg napkin holder. All rests on a wishbone. There is indication that there was a second wishbone that broke off. Marked Middletown Plate Co., #161. Silver loss/tarnish. All napkin rings are in good condition.
