This lot includes a Kate Greenaway type boy in long coat wearing a big hat., stands in front of napkin holder. Marked Meriden B. Company, #251. Silver and condition are very good. Plate 527. There is also a winged cherub that sits on base in front of napkin holder holding an arrow and a box. Marked Meriden Silver Plate Co., #219. Silver loss, otherwise in good condition. Plate 440- bottom left. In addition, a small winged cherub rests on domed-shaped, woodland base which also holds a narrow napkin holder on short pedestal. Marked Wilcox Silver Plate Co., #8206. Tarnished, but condition is good. Plate 425. A branch of berries and leaves encircles napkin holder on a large oak leaf base. Marked Standard Silver Co., #791. Some silver loss, but overall condition is good. Page 109 - third down. Included is also a Kate Greenaway-type girl in bonnet, long dress and cape seated next to napkin holder on a rectangular base with chamfered corners. Marked J.A. Babcock. Of more recent vintage. Finally, there is a deer that pulls napkin holder on wheels. No manufacturer's mark or number. Silver is fair. Of more recent vintage.
