This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/5/2015
This lot includes a goat that pulls napkin holder on wheels. Marked Rogers Smith #212. The goat's tail has become detached, but this could be resoldered. One wheel looks a little bent. Some silver loss, otherwise is in good condition. Plate 77. There is also an open winged bird that oversees a nest of eggs by napkin holder on a raised round base. Marked E.G. Webster & Son, #173. Silver and condition are good. Plate 210. Next is a napkin holder in the shape of a book. An engraved fan on the book is inscribed with the name "Levi." Tarnished, but silver and condition are good. No manufacturer's marks. Similar to plate 637. Also, there is a small turtle that supports the napkin holder on his back. No manufacturer's marks. Tarnished, but silver and condition are good. In addition, there is a leaf base that supports a napkin holder on a small ball while the stem forms a handle. Nestled at the base of the handle is a flower. Marked The Acme Silver Co., Toronto, #704. Tarnished, but silver and condition are good. Finally, there is a split tail bird atop pedestal on round raised base. Marked Reed & Barton, #202. The tip of the bird's beak is broken off and there is silver loss. It is very probable that the napkin holder was added to this piece.
