This lot includes a large bird by napkin holder on oval, footed base. Some silver loss. No manufacturer's marks, but a very impressive ring! Next is four croquet mallets that are joined at the top by leaves. The napkin holder simulates a wicket on square ball footed base. Marked Derby Silver Co., # 302. A little silver loss, but overall condition is very good. Plate 719. There is a lily leaf base that supports napkin holder on a short pedestal. A lily bud whose stem forms a handle decorates one side. Marked Meriden B. Company #168. Engraved "From Hazel & George." Silver and condition are good. Plate 495. There also is a Kate Greenaway type boy that stands on raised round base and looks at bird atop napkin holder. Marked on a coin, Rogers & Bro., #22. Tarnished, but silver and condition are good. In addition, there is another Kate Greenaway type boy that lies on his stomach on rectangular base with chamfered corners and balances the napkin holder on his back. Marked James W. Tufts. Of more recent vintage. There is also a dog that pulls napkin holder on wheels. No manufacturer's marks. Similar to plate 57, but more of recent vintage. Finally, there is a crawling boy that carries narrow napkin holder on his back. No manufacturer's marks. Tarnished, but may clean up. Overall condition is good. Plate 644.
