This lot includes a large kitty on hind legs that stands by pedestaled toothpick holder on four footed, raised, rectangular base. Silver loss and some fretwork at the top of the toothpick holder are broken off, but this is still a great piece. Marked James W. Tufts. #3403. Next is a toothpick holder engraved "Old Memories." Has a candle holder on one side and blacksmith tools on the other side. No manufacturer's marks. Silver loss, otherwise in good condition. Next is a long eared squirrel on hind legs by toothpick holder. Marked Meriden Silver Plate Co., #083. Tarnished, otherwise in good condition. Page 148 - top. There is also a chick that perches on a wishbone that also supports "cracked egg" toothpick holder, engraved "Best Wishes." Marked WR, New York, #340. Silver loss, otherwise in good condition. There is also a toothpick holder with two fancy handles that is engraved "Take Your Pick." Marked Meriden Silver Plate Co., #087. Silver loss, otherwise good condition. Finally, there is an Oriental man with a long que that stands by napkin holder on rectangular tiered base. Marked on a coin, Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co., #220. Of more recent vintage.
