This lot includes a chicken and garden rake that are mounted on one side of a round, raised base. The napkin holder is on the other side of the rake. Marked E.G. Webster & Bro, #172. Tarnished, but condition and silver are good. Plate 252-right. Next is a napkin holder on sled base marked Wilcox Silver Plate Co., #01576. Missing from this piece is the young boy who should be pulling the sled by ropes. See plate 653. In addition, there are two pheasants that decorate each side of this pretty raised and decorative base. Their wings support the napkin holder along with a small pedestal. The edges of the four feet are bent under just slightly, but this is an easy fix. Otherwise, condition and silver are good. Plate 241. Next is a dressed monkey that stands on round, raised base, his hands on the napkin holder. Marked Meriden B. Company, #12. Condition is good. There is also a napkin holder on a pedestal. Marked Meriden B. Company, #131. Next is a small winged cherub (one wing is broken off) sits on a ball footed, heart shaped base and reaches for an arrow that is on the opposite side of the base. A pedestaled napkin holder engraved, "Hearts are Trumps" and the initials in the center. Marked Rogers & Bro., #4350. Some silver loss/tarnish. Otherwise, condition is very good. There is also a Kate Greenaway type girl sits on a forked and curving branch which supports the napkin holder. Marked on a coin, Derby Silver Co., #113. Very similar to plate 555, but this example is of more recent vintage. Finally, there is a small lion that is seated on a shelf with cross bar feet on either side of an elevated napkin holder. No manufacturers mark or number. Silver loss/tarnish, otherwise in good condition.
