This lot includes a lion rampant that stands on a plain rectangular ball footed base with his front paws on the napkin holder. Marked Meriden B. Company #153. Tarnished, but silver and condition are good. Plate 125. Next is a bird that is perched on a branch by napkin holder on rectangular base with chamfered corners. Marked Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co., #010. Silver loss, otherwise good condition. There is also a napkin holder on ball that is supported by fancy fretwork on one side. On flat rectangular base. Marked on a coin "Rogers Smith & Co." #156. In addition, there is a frog with glass eyes peers at fly atop napkin holder on his back. His front right leg is twisted back. Silver loss, but this is a great ring. Marked #040. Plate 583. Next is a large bird. His chest against the napkin holder. Unfortunately he has lost his legs and the fancy cut out base. There is also supposed to be a chain going around the birds neck (partially there) to the napkin holder. Silver is tarnished, but good. The bottom of the napkin holder is marked Meriden B. Company, #158. Plate 196 - left. Finally, there is an angry looking dog with teeth bared wears a collar with a tag. He carries the napkin holder on his back and is on a flat rectangular base. Base is marked Meriden B. Company #35. Tarnished, but silver and condition are good.
