Barrel length 24". Caliber .30-06. This is a typical World War II arsenal rebuild, using a post 1919 receiver with a barrel that is stamped SA10-44 with flaming bomb. Stock is stamped with the arsenal rebuild stamp and has "P" at wrist in box. The rebuild cartouche on left side is faint. Stock is in excellent condition. Has the arsenal flat phosphate military finish. Milled floor plate has some aged freckling. Balance of metal retains 90% finish. Has an ME reading of 1. Strong rifle bore. Has the Type 1 smooth milled buttplate. Type 6 hand guard (Rebuild). Overall a fine as-issued World War II Springfield.
