2" barrel in .25 ACP caliber. Manufactured in 1925. This pistol began life as a standard Colt Model 1908 .25 caliber semi-automatic. In a receipt dated 2-17-14, this gun was sent in for Renaissance style engraving with satin and chrome finish, and fitted silver Colt medallion smooth horn grips. The engraver of this custom pistol was none other than Angelo Bee, one of the finest master engravers ever who worked for years in the Browning engraving department. He is known for his beautiful scroll and intricate hand chiseled work. We cannot find his signature on this work, but his receipt lists the gun by serial number. Features almost complete coverage and in near new condition as customized with sharp legends. Strong bore and perfect action. Pistol resides within a hardwood display case. An exquisite pocket hammerless pistol.
