A)SN 103941. Replica of the Colt Model 1860 .44 caliber Army revolver. Features: six shot, percussion, .44 cal., 8" round barrel, smooth walnut grips, case color hammer frame and loading lever, blued barrel cylinder and back strap, brass trigger guard. The cylinder is rebaded with Navel scene. This example is cut for shoulder stock and was imported by Western Arms and shows no sign of having been fired. B) SN 684. It is a Navy Arms copy of the Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver that features a 7-1/2" octagon blued barrel, a six shot blued cylinder with no scene, case colored frame hammer and loading lever, brass trigger guard and back strap, with smooth walnut grips. This revolver is a .36 caliber. It has been fired and shows high edge wear. Colors are thinning. C) SN 0016. This revolver is a lovely, high quality, six shot, .36 caliber revolver, based on the famous Dance Brothers model, which were originally manufactured in Texas for the Confederacy. The most distinguishing feature on these revolvers are the lack of recoil shields, which give the frame a flat appearance on both sides. The other unusualy feature is the 7-1/2" octagon to round barrel. This revolver was beautifully finished in the high polished royal blue with case color and brass straps with walnut grips. The square backed trigger guard is a departure from the original Dance revolvers. This revolver was imported by Uberti. The sides of the barrel are thinning to brown patina in areas and there is high edge wear at face of cylinder. Strong case colors. Near new inside.
