Fabulous, one-of-a-kind pin that is beautifully enameled and done in 18 karat yellow gold. There is very unusual, highly skilled and labor intensive plique-a-jour work with small individual pieces of green glass in between the gold on the wings of the wasp. This process was first used in France in the 1920s. There are 11 round brilliant cut diamonds (G-H/VS2) and very fine enameling work. This piece is probably from the 1960s and is in perfect condition. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that demonstrates the beauty of nature.Jewelry
