A) It is a US Marines etched blade NCO sword. The hilt is etched "N.S. Meyer Inc., #372, Conqueror Trademark, stainless, Germany". The near mint, 30" blade is beautifully etched with "United States Marines" and patriotic motif. The hilt has a brass touch mark inside a star of David. The handle is leather wrapped with brass braid. The guard and pommel are wonderfully aged brass. The metal scabbard is leather covered with brass tip and throat, stamped "30", with original hanger.B) European etched blade sword. 29" blade. Lovely floral etching with average age spotting. Features a shark skin handle with brass braid. The pommel and hand guard are brass. No factory stamps visible and no scabbard.
