Caliber is 45 ACP, barrel length is 5". Manufactured in 1943. This mid-war Colt Model 1911 A1 is standard war production. Features the GHD inspector mark on left side of frame (Guy H. Dewey) June 1942 to July 1945. Standard Military issue in excellent condition retaining 98% original war time finish with light drag line and a few minor storage marks on slide. Has the proper Keyes grips. Comes in a proper style box with two magazines and cleaning rod. Just about as nice as you will find one of these mid-war Colt 1911s.
