.54 bore flintlock with an 8" brass octagon barrel with British proofs stamped "Bristol". Engraved lock is stamped "Fisher". One piece walnut stock. Brass tipped ebony ramrod. Nickel silver thumbplate. Engraved brass trigger guard. Stock is missing the barrel key and has a 1" crack on left plate. Smooth bore is very good. Operationally fine. "Gunmakers of London 1350 - 1850" lists several "Fishers", unable to determine which one.
