Barrel length 26", .244 caliber. This custom Mauser was built on a Gew 98 action, manufactured in 1917, in Danzig. It was re-barreled .244, heavy round with no sights. Metal was re-blued. A custom turned down bolt with a custom, highly figured walnut stock that was finely checkered with a white diamond fore-end, checkered pistol grip cap and butt plate. Aside from a couple minor storage impressions on stock, gun remain in near mint, as built condition, inside and out. The barrel, as well as front receiver bridge are tapped for scope mounts.
