4" barrel in .38 Smith & Wesson caliber. Aside from a light drag line, this revolver is in near new all original factory condition. It is a scarce blued Fifth Model that retains virtually all of its original factory blue luster with no aging or flaking of any kind. All the brilliant blue is there on frame, barrel, trigger guard, and grip straps. Gutta percha grips are mint. Lovely case colors on trigger. Mint bore and perfect action. These are often referred to as the "New Departure" revolver. Housed in an original red Smith & Wesson box with proper end label. Box is in excellent condition. It would be next to impossible to find a blued example of this revolver in finer all original condition.
