Highly desirable 1840's era china shoulder head with molded and painted facial features, black molded and painted hair with tight center part with hair framing the face, covering the ears, and pulled into a tight coiled bun in back held in place with a molded hair comb. She is on an old muslin stuffed body with porcelain lower limbs, lacking right leg. She wears an antique white cotton period dress with cut work design and a blue silk shawl with antique black lace trim. Condition; head very good, crack and re-glue on one arm as well as similar damage on the remaining leg.
