.22 rimfire, Barrel length 24". Manufactured 1902. This beautiful rifle remains in fantastic, all original factory condition. Features include: a full octagon barrel, half magazine, blue finish, simply scored walnut fore-end, walnut stock with Colt logo Gutta Percha butt plate. The hammer retains 80% original case colors. The barrtel and magazine retain 90% original factory blue with standard sights and has razor sharp edges and sharp legends. The frame retains approx 85% of the brilliant high polish blue finish. Thinning on high edges. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks and retain the majority of their original finish. Dust cuover retains approx 40% original high polish blue with balance patina. Even the fore-end screw retains most of its original fire blue finish. Action is perfect, strong clean bore. A really exceptional small frame Colt Lightning rifle.
