Caliber .52. Barrel length 45-3/4". The lock appears to be stamped R. Ashmore & Son and has been cleaned. Octagon to round barrel is not marked. Overall grey mixed with light rust. Has a full length tiger striped maple stock. Barrel is pinned and has a 3" sliver missing front the left side and mussel. Rod is retained by three brass thimbles that have been polished as well as the brass nose gap. Brass trigger guard has been cleans. Single nonadjustable trigger. Reverse side plate bolts are replaced and have polished brass backs. Brass buttplate with brass heel plate with contained crack at heel. Small PA cheek piece. No decorations or patch box. Replaced hammer screw and washer. Working condition. Handsome rifle that with a little attention and someone to replace and clean parts would be excellent.
