Barrel length 24", .30-06 caliber. Manufactured March 1945-June 1945. Bolt is stamped "D28287-19SA" (correct for serial range). Heat lot is "A9", which is June 1945 (correct). Barrel is dated June 1945, Springfield Armory (correct). It has an ME rating of 1. it has proper rear sight, Type 3, lock-bar with square ends. It has proper butt plate with trap. Proper front sight. Left side of stock is stamped "SA NFR" with ordinance wheel. Serif proof "P" in circle on wrist. Inspector was Norman F. Ramsey, October 1944-November 1945, Serial range 3,300,000-3,889,000 (correct). Metal retains approx 95% of original military phosphate finish. Beautiful original finish stock. Nice, late war Garand with matching barrel, sights, un-cut op-rod, and stock. The up-rod is referred to as a flat line. this rifle is in near new condition with all correct parts and as nice as they come. Has the un-cut flat-nine op-rod.
