Barrel length 24", .30-06 caliber. Manufactured from Dec 1952 - Nov 1953. Bolt is stamped "D6528287 IHC U" (proper). Heat lot "U" dates to March 1953. Barrel is dated July 1953. Stamped "LMR A16" with D number D6535448. It has the proper Type 4 post war rear sight. Stock has the DOD eagle acceptance mark with 3 stars (proper). It has the block "P" with no serifs on wrist (proper). Gas cylinder nut is stamped "IHC" and "NHC". It has a ME reading of 1. Receiver retains virtually all of its original military phosphate finish. Barrel and gas cylinder have 95% of the matte blue finish. Stock is excellent with usual minor dings. An extremely clean M-1 Garand, manufactured in the last month of the Korean War. With matching receiver, barrel, sights and stock. All proper I. H. C. parts.
