7.7mm cal, barrel length 25-1/2". Manufactured at the Kokura Arsenal at the Kasuga Factory. It has the plain rear barrel band with no monopod. It has the original finish two piece butt stock with full length hand guard. It has the cupped, sheet metal butt plate. Royal full mum stamped on receiver with characters signifying Type 99. Bolt matches receiver. Rear sight has the aircraft wings. This rifle comes with the original sling and bayonet with the leather scabbard and frog. No dust cover. Retains most of its military dull blued finish with usual light age freckling. The scabbard is canvas. Fine example with beautiful chrome lined bore. Rubberized canvas, sling and scabbard.
