4" barrel in .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber. Offered is the Navy version of the Victory Model, produced during World War II. It is a six shot, double action, with the dark phosphate finish ("black magic"), case colored hammer and trigger, smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. It is built on the K frame and manufactured from 1942 to 1945. Top of frame is stamped "U.S. Navy". Unlike the Army Victory Model, there are no cartouche stamps on this gun. Remains in immaculate condition, retaining 98% of its military finish with no cylinder burn and basically unused, showing only minor storage marks and light drag line. Grips are near mint. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. Original lanyard ring. An extremely fine U.S. Navy World War II revolver, far scarcer than its Army counterpart.
