Stunning mache shoulder head doll attributed to Andreas Voit, with inset brown glass eyes, open mouth with four upper bamboo teeth, six smaller lower teeth with long swan like neck, applied blond mohair wig in Marie Antoinette style and wearing an off-the-shoulder cream silk brocade costume with braid trim and lace trimmed sleeves. The body is a long slender French fashion doll type body with individual stitched fingers and gussets at the elbows, hips and knees. The antique underwear is made of linen and slippers are pale green silk with leather sewn soles. Condition: very good with slight rust protruding from several fingers.
