This trio consists of three distinctive Steiff bears, each made specifically for a different country. The first bear is the company's exquisite 40cm Happiness Bear, produced as an exclusive for Japan in an edition size of 3,000 in 1996. This is No. 1900. The bear is fully jointed, wears a special ribbon and medallion, and is made from a magnificent light orange colored mohair. He retains his button and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The second bear is a 34cm Steiff Berlin Bear, produced as a North American exclusive in an open edition from 1985-1987. The bear is fully jointed, wears a gold plated crown and red and white "Berlin" sash, and is made from brown mohair. He retains his special chest tag (attached to his sash), button, and yellow ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The last bear is the company's very appealing 45cm British Collectors Bear, produced as an exclusive for the UK in an edition size of 4,000 in 2001. This is No. 103. The bear is fully jointed, has a distinctive and prominent shaved muzzle, and is made from yellow blonde mohair. He retains his button and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs; his ribbon has been lost to time. No packaging and documentation as noted. Like new condition. From a fine California collection.
