These three bears would be ideal for wintertime decorating. The first bear is a 42cm Steiff Olympic Skier Bear, produced as a North American exclusive in an edition size of 1,500 in 2002. This is No. 337. The bear is fully jointed, wearing a blue "USA" emblazoned sweater and matching headband, and is made from wonderful long blonde mohair. His skis and poles have been lost to time. He retains his certificate hang tag, button, and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The second bear is a 26cm Christmas Teddy with a working nutcracker, produced as a worldwide exclusive in an edition size of 3,000 in 2002. The is No. 274. The bear is fully jointed, carries a working nutcracker from the Erzgebirge region of Germany, and is made from chocolate mohair. He retains his button and red and white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. The third bear is a jolly 30cm classic looking Steiff bear dressed in a fur trimmed, red velvet Santa jacket and hat. It was produced as a yellow tag edition for MBI in the United States in the early 2000's. The bear is fully jointed, is additionally detailed with a big black belt and green velvet mittens, and is made from blonde mohair. He retains his hang tag, button, and yellow ear tag as his Steiff IDs. No packaging and documentation as noted. Like new condition. From a fine California collection.
