Offered is a fine and rare U.S. marked shoulder stock for the Colt Dragoon revolvers. It is No. 17697 and 17698. Left side of walnut stock has the inspector cartouche of G.G. Sanders, while right side has the inspector stamp of William Thorton. All metal hardware is a dark rich patina, while the walnut stock is excellent with usual dings but no cracks. Saddle ring is intact, as is adjustment. Beautiful martially marked stock that would enhance any U.S. 3rd Model Dragoon.
