Caliber .38 Colt automatic, Barrel length is 6”. This is referred to as the Military model. It has the square butt with the lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1915. Features the blued finish with the Colt black gutta percha grips. This has the later features with the rear slide serrations and spur hammer. Original magazine is not stamped. Gun retains approximately 75% of original factory blue finish. Thinning on high edges mixing with patina. This pistol was shipped to England and has the English proof marks on the barrel as well as left side of the slide and frame. The timing of the shipment coincides with Britain’s involvement in the first World War. Grips are near mint. Bore is excellent, action is fine.
