Beautiful early French bisque socket head incised “Sie C 6” and in small red letters “Steiner B.S.G.D.G. J. Bourgoin ____” (last letters illegible) with working wire eye mechanism (miniscule corner eye fleck), multistroked eyebrows, mauve eye shadow, painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth with lip shading strokes, chubby cheeks (tiny black speck on one), original cardboard pate, antique blonde curly mohair wig; original composition and wood jointed body (wear on joints and fingers, soil, scuffing) with black Steiner stamp on hip. Very nicely redressed in pink silk and lace with lovely bonnet, shoes marked Paris with greyhound. No damage noted on bisque except as indicated. A stunning girl, very desirable model!
