16 bore, Barrel length 30-3/4”. Left barrel choked full, right is modified. Offered is a nice early German double barrel shotgun. All matching numbers. This side by side, 16 bore, hammer gun is typical of early 19th century so called stalking guns, meant for hunting game in black forest area of Germany. The barrels feature a full solid matted rib with doll head lug, single bead, very good bores, tight as new lock up with no wiggle. Frame and side plates have been cleaned, traces of blue on trigger guard. Checkered walnut stocks are excellent with lightly added finish, wear to checkering, pistol grip cap, horn butt plate, rollover cheek piece with sling and swivels. Fine working condition.
