Both of these early style muskets are smooth bore, percussion, no maker name on metal or wood, no visible inspector marks or proofs.Gun A) Features a 33 - 1/2" barrel and 70 bore. Full length walnut stock, single shot. Wood is very good - excellent, missing nose cap. Metal is a brown - gray patina, has a period correct leather sling, working condition.Gun B) Features a 31" barrel and .65 bore. Double barrel band, walnut stock, right side of stock is carved "DA62 55", chip in buttplate, several hairline cracks on the right and left side of the butt, has rear sling swivel, has a brass repair at breech, working condition. Metal is a gray - brown freckled patina, has a bayonet cut on right side at the front of barrel, hairline crack on right wrist.
