Caliber 7.92x57mm, Barrel length 24". The receiver ring has the DOU for Waffenwerke Brunn, A-G, Bystrica over the '41' manufacturing date. This rifle was fitted with the laminated stock and the cupped aluminum buttplate. It is basically a takeover of production of the VZ24. The bolt is numbered to receiver and both are stamped with the Waffenamt stamp. Right side of stock has numerous Waffenamt and inspector marks. Butt of stock is stamped with the matching number. Barrel and front barrel band retain approximately 90% military blue finish as does frame. Trigger guard and silver plate have 20% blue. Original stock is very good to excellent with all original finish. Original military rear sight. Fine bore and action. Very scarce all matching variation of the VZ24.
