12 bore, Barrel length 20”. Standard issue Stevens trench shotgun, World War II issue. The serial number falls in the middle of the accepted range. Has the standard, dull brushed blue finish, left side of frame is stamped “620” (proper), 2-3/4” chamber, left side of frame above trigger guard is stamped “US”, left side of forward frame has the proof “P” with the ordinance bomb, top of barrel and top of frame has proof “P”, right side of barrel have proof “P” and bomb with the “J. Stevens Arm Co” address, six row blued ventilated hand guard, bayonet attachment has the typical purple hue, standard commercial black composite Stevens butt plate and sling swivels. Fine bore and action. There is wear to the bar and tube and high edge wear on frame, starting to patina at base, still retains 85-90% original finish. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, no cracks or major chips. Extremely fine condition, World War II, trench gun.
