Caliber .30-60, Barrel length 26”. Has a Winchester barrel dated “11-1917”, stock, rear sight, front barrel band, and bolt all Winchester and bolt is stamped “Nickel Steel”. Letter "W" stamped in forward end of the stock. Has Eagle Head proof on bottom of wrist. Still retains approximately 90% of correct original blue finish on frame and barrel. Barrel bands are brown patina, as is buttplate. Stock is very good to excellent with usual dings. Floor plate and trigger guard are brown patina. Strong, clean, rifled bore with ME reading of 1.75. Perfect action. Comes with a period sling. Nice example of early World War I Winchester.
