Caliber .30-06, Barrel length 24”. Rifle was manufactured May 1943 - October 1943. Drawing number is D28287-1. Stamped “W.R.A.”. Barrel is stamped with the “PW” proof and “25”. Has the hex head gas port nut, serif “P” in circle on wrist, left side of stock is stamped “W.R.A.” and “G.H.D.”. Top of “R” and “A” not readable due to curved stock surface and partial impression (correct). Ordnance wheel next to cartouche. Type three lock bar rear sight with square ends. Trigger guard is stamped “C46025 W.R.A.”. Metal retains virtually all of the original military green parkerized finish. An uncut WRA op-rod. ME reading is 2 with a shiny bore. Stock is excellent.
