Caliber .30-06, Barrel length 24”. This rifle was manufactured by International Harvester from October 1954 to end of production 1956. Bolt drawing number is 6528287 IHC D19. Barrel is dated 11-1954 and stamped “LMR” with drawing number D6538448 and also stamped A38. Additional stamped include two large “P”s and an “M”. A type four post-war rear sight, hex nut gas port, and proper op-rod. Left side of the stock has the 1/2” three stars and eagle DOD stamp used by IHC after November of 1953. Has block “P” in circle on wrist and checkered butt plate with trap. Stock is near mint. Metal retains approximately 90% military parkerized finish. ME reading is 2 with a shiny bore.
