Caliber .30-06, Barrel length 24". This rifle was made by Winchester from May 1943-October 1943. Barrel does not have the "W/P" stamp visible. Has a cut Winchester No. 13 op-rod. Rear sight is a type three lock bar with square ends. Trigger guard is stamped "C46025WRA". Wrist has an obscured serif "P" in circle. The Ordnance wheel and "W.R.A. G.H.D." partially obscured on left side. This variation is discussed in example "T" on page ten in the book "Collecting the Garand II" by Harrison. Bolt drawing number is D28287-1WRA. Rear barrel band and sight assembly is blued. Balance is military green parkerized finish retaining approximately 80-85%. Stocks are very good but both sides of the butt have been worn down the last 1/2". ME reading of one with a nice bore.
