Caliber .30-06, Barrel length 24”. This rifle was built by the Harrington & Richardson Company near end of production from February 1955. Has a bolt drawing number of 6528287 and is stamped “H.R.A.”. Barrel is dated February 1955 with “LMR” and drawing number D6535448 and is also stamped A40. Large “H.F.” proof. Has a type four post-war rear sight, hex nut on gas port. Left side of stock has the DOD three star eagle in 1/2” box, used after November 1953 by HRA. Has a block “P” in circle on wrist. HRA rifles left the factory with oil finish on stock. Stock is excellent with checkered aluminum buttplate with trap. Proper op-rod. ME reading of 1 with a shiny bore. All original finish. Comes with a period sling.
