Caliber 75 bore, Barrel length 44-1/2”. Offered is an all original, untouched, attic found, Revolutionary War musket exported from France to the colonies. It has the original flint lock, lock plate is stamped “Charleville” with the arsenal “D”, stock is stamped with the corresponding arsenal mark, the left side of stock is stamped with “N.D.”. All iron furniture, three bands, replacement rod, weak main spring, enlarged touch hole and original swivels. Wood is excellent with no cracks and only a couple of minor chips at the plate. All furniture is in untouched dark brown patina. Extremely fine U.S. militia used Charleville Revolutionary War rifle.

CORRECTION: The length of the ram rod is 31-3/8". The enlarged touch hole is drilled on a slight angle.
