Caliber .75 bore, Barrel length 42”. Offered is an American Revolutionary War altered French Charleville musket. Left side has arsenal stamps, three bands, original flint lock stamped “Charleville”, top jaw screw is a replacement and is stripped. Has the original 1763 front band. Rod is a period replacement. The frizzen exhibits period re-facing. Rifle is missing the sling swivels and has an American made stock in Brown Bess style. All iron furniture is dark patina, as found, untouched. Stock is very good, original finish, with some chipping around lock. Nice example of American used Revolutionary War musket.
