Caliber .38 S&W Special, Barrel length 4". These revolvers were manufactured 1942-1945. This example is stamped "US Navy" on top strap. Standard features: six shot, double action, fixed sights, phosphate military finish, with case colored hammer and trigger, smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. Built on the square butt, K frame. Right grip panel is numbered 659765 (not matching). Revolver retains approximately 85-90% of the original military finish, grips are excellent. Action perfect, bore is near mint. Nice example of scarce Navy model.
