Caliber .69, Barrel length 42". This musket was period converted at the arsenal to the percussion system. Lock is stamped "Harper's Ferry 1836" with U.S. Eagle. Left side has several perfect cartouche stamps. Original ram rod, swivels, iron furniture and three bands. This rifle is in so called "attic condition", as found, never touched, cleaned or oiled. Ancient pitting around nipple. Stocks are very good to excellent with no major cracks or repairs. Exactly as one would expect to find a weapon of this era that has never seen any attempt to clean or alter in anyway.
