Caliber .40 percussion, Barrel length 35-3/4”. This lovely full stock percussion rifle was manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland by H. Morry. It features full octagon barrel, small leaf rear sight, dove tail front, brass for end tip, brass tipped rod retained by three brass trumpets, barrel is pinned and wedged with no escutcheons, brass trigger guard and left side plate, both with light engraving. Silver thumb plate. Brass butt plate, brass heal plate, brass patch box is engraved with eagle, cannon, shield, and flag. The wrist is checkered. Pennsylvania type cheek piece. Stock is in excellent condition. Barrel is a brown patina as is lock plate that is stamped “Warranted” Has the double adjustable set trigger and is in fine working order.
