Caliber .45 LC, Barrel length 5-1/2”. In 1987, Colt produced a special five gun series of Sheriff’s models (Colt Single Action Army’s manufactured without ejectors). They were finished in the full royal blue with the gold medallion smooth walnut grips. They are all referred to as the Colt Single Action Army Sheriff’s model. Some of the barrel lengths offered in this sheriff’s model series were the only such examples manufactured during the Sheriff’s model production. This revolver is in as new condition in and out and has the lightest of drag marks. This gun comes in an original box with paperwork, hang tags, and remains unfired. This example sports the rare 5-1/2” barrel.
